October is going to be a crazy month! I’m at New York Comic Con International October 8 through 11. Then I get back home to London and have a week to rest before the beginning of London Comic Con, October 23–25. Then we’ll cap the month off with YALC on October 31 and November 1.
We will also be releasing the sixth book in the Limerent series, called Mirrored Lands, on October 8. But that’s not all that’s being released on the 8th. I kept feeling guilty about the fact that so many kids would come to my booth and ask if I had anything they could read. I had to say, “No, honey, come back in 10 years.” So finally, at Birmingham Comic Con this summer, I met a 10-year-old boy named Alex. He convinced me to release one of the short stories from my sabbatical short story book as a single novella because the story is called The Year Alex Got Everything He Wanted for Christmas. And it is very appropriate for kids of all ages. As long as I was doing that, I decided to release another short story as a novella. It is called The Harvesting of Amber Sue White.
So it’s a busy, eventful, and fulfilling month. 😊
