Lexy is the ultimate wanderer and storyteller. Raised as a Navy Brat to a real-life United States Navy Captain, she has lived in three continents, four countries, nine states and 21 cities. Currently residing in Paris, with her charming French husband and two very cool sons, she is now a full-time author, the culmination of a career arc that has encompassed being a rock musician, science graduate, and attorney at law. It’s been an exciting few months. First, I’m excited to share that Caio was named a Finalist in the Suspense category of the 2026 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the world’s largest awards program for independent publishers and self-published authors. I was lucky to be invited to the awards ceremony in Chicago on June 26, held during the American Library Association Annual Conference. Given the quality of the books submitted, it’s such an honour to see Caio recognized among this year’s outstanding independent books. 🎉🎉🏅🏅
Second, we just received notice that the second book in my series, called Bright Midnights, is a finalist in the International Book Awards for 2026 in the category of Cross Genre Fiction.
And finally, at the end of July, we will be attending the San Diego Comic-Con in California for the first time. And I’m attending as a “professional.” 💕💕
